Multiple areas in the UK are preparing for another round of snow before the end of the month. Arctic conditions could bring blizzards and up to 50cm of snow in some places, with temperatures dropping to -13C. Weather forecasts suggest that Scotland, north-west England, parts of south-west England, and Wales may see snowfall rates of up to 10mm per hour on Thursday, January 29.

This snowfall could result in accumulations of up to 30cm in various English regions, including Manchester, Blackpool, Birmingham, the Midlands, Bristol, parts of Somerset, Devon, and London. Northern regions, especially the north of Scotland, might experience snow depths of 50cm, while the north-west of England could see up to 23cm of snow.

A significant temperature decrease is expected, with Scotland possibly facing -13C temperatures, while the rest of the country could see temperatures around -4C. The Met Office has also mentioned the possibility of more snow before the end of January, with a mix of Atlantic weather systems and colder conditions influencing the weather pattern.

This comes after Storm Goretti, which hit the UK with strong winds and heavy snowfall, prompting a red weather warning earlier this month. The recent weather events have caused disruptions across the country, with authorities monitoring the situation closely.
