Sky has made a surprising announcement by bringing back its beloved channel, Sky One, which had been closed in 2021. The relaunch is set to feature a lineup of comedy and entertainment shows, including new series like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and Gemma Collins: Four Weddings and a Baby.

Viewers can also look forward to returning favorites such as Rob & Romesh Vs., The Paper, and Ted, all accessible on channel 106. Additionally, the channel will introduce Saturday Night Live UK in the coming months.

Replacing Sky Showcase and Sky Max, the revived Sky One will consolidate a diverse range of entertainment offerings in one place, simplifying the viewing experience for audiences.

Carli Kerr, Managing Director of Sky TV & NOW, expressed the company’s commitment to enhancing the viewer experience by providing a unique and energetic channel that integrates new Sky Originals like The Dyers’ Caravan Park and fan-favorite shows such as Rob & Romesh Vs. and the upcoming Saturday Night Live UK.

Sky One is scheduled to launch on channel 106 on Tuesday, February 24, giving audiences access to the revamped channel. The announcement coincides with Sky’s confirmation of a major event happening this month.

With the teaser “Big things are coming to Sky TV. Join us to find out more,” speculation is rife about what surprises Sky may unveil at the event. Mirror Online will be present at the launch event in London’s West End to provide real-time updates as information unfolds, starting at 10am on February 11.
