New images have captured global support for Iranian protesters as they rally against Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s oppressive regime. The Supreme Leader has violently suppressed dissent, with reports suggesting that as many as 2,500 individuals have been killed during anti-government demonstrations over economic grievances. Demonstrators in Iran have found solidarity from international allies who are calling for an end to the brutality.

Impressive visuals depict individuals in the UK, Korea, Israel, Germany, Turkey, and other countries joining the movement to liberate Iran from its authoritarian rule. Some protesters have been seen burning images of the Ayatollah and donning the colors of Iran’s pre-revolution “Lion and Sun” flag, a symbol of the country’s royal past. Additionally, the flag has been raised alongside pictures of Reza Pahlavi, the exiled crown prince and son of the former Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who is being considered as a potential leader to replace the current regime.

Protests in Romania featured demonstrators holding up images of Reza Pahlavi, while in Germany, protesters adorned themselves in the colors of Iran’s former flag. Parisian protesters displayed signs in support of Reza Pahlavi, and in Switzerland, some individuals burned photos of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Shiite Muslims in Pakistan also expressed their opposition to the Iranian government, while residents of Chile protested outside Iran’s embassy in Santiago. At the White House in Washington, a large Persian flag was laid out by protesters, and demonstrations have extended to Seoul, where activists gathered outside the Iranian Embassy. Londoners also participated in protests outside the Houses of Parliament.
