Clarkes of Sussex made the announcement via social media, stating that the time has come to close its Burgess Hill branch in West Sussex after over 40 years of operation. Although the exact closing date in April has not been disclosed, devoted customers have been expressing their sadness.
Numerous customers shared their sentiments, with one expressing, “You will be greatly missed. Last year, Clarkes of Sussex closed its Brighton store after 25 years of service, but it continues to operate other stores in Sussex, including one in Haywards Heath. Additionally, Clarkes in Lewes, under different ownership, is set to close in March.
