Despite recent tensions, Trump reassured that he has no plans to deploy ground troops to Iran. He also requested an additional $200 billion for military spending, citing the need to maintain a strong national defense in a volatile global environment.
In a separate development, two FBI agents filed a lawsuit alleging wrongful termination due to their involvement in investigating Trump’s attempts to challenge the 2020 election results. The lawsuit seeks reinstatement and challenges the legality of their dismissals under FBI Director Kash Patel’s leadership.
The FBI declined to comment on the matter.
