Sky has unveiled an exciting new update that promises to be a game-changer for viewers. The company is set to roll out a new subscription package that combines several top-tier streaming services at a reduced monthly rate. Priced at just £24 per month, this comprehensive plan will grant both new and existing customers access to Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the highly anticipated HBO Max app, slated for launch in the near future.

According to Sky, this bundled offering delivers exceptional value, providing approximately £20 worth of streaming apps for a fraction of the cost. Considering Sky’s standard plan is priced at £15 per month, subscribers can enjoy the additional content for only an extra £9 each month.

But the benefits don’t stop there. Subscribers opting for the Ultimate TV plan will gain access to over 130 channels, including popular options like Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky Crime, and Sky History, among others.

In another exciting development, Sky Cinema users will now have access to a dedicated Disney movie channel integrated into their planner. This channel will enable them to watch Disney blockbusters directly without having to open the Disney+ app separately.

Existing Disney+ subscribers who sign up through Sky can seamlessly transition their current plan—whether Standard or Premium—while retaining their profiles and viewing history.

Furthermore, Sky has confirmed that all supported apps will be conveniently accessible from the homepage, featuring fully integrated content. This feature allows users to easily discover shows and movies through voice search and save them to a Playlist for later viewing.

The new Sky Ultimate plan will be available across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms, offering a streamlined viewing experience for subscribers.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, expressed excitement about the update, highlighting it as a significant milestone for both Sky and NOW. By bringing together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription, customers can enjoy an integrated viewing experience and unparalleled value. Additionally, NOW Entertainment customers will receive HBO Max at no extra cost.

Sky’s latest move underscores its commitment to innovation, aiming to simplify the process for viewers to access premium entertainment all in one place.

Here’s a breakdown of everything included in the update:

– Netflix Standard with Ads
– Disney+ Standard with Ads (available from March, exact date TBD)
– HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching in the UK & Ireland on 26th March)
– Hayu (available from July, with select shows accessible from March)
– PLUS: Over 130 channels from Sky
