A new impactful documentary has been endorsed by royalty – specifically, by the King himself. Groundswell, the concluding part of a compelling trilogy created by Rebecca and Josh Tickell, a filmmaking duo based in California, has been in the works for over ten years. This documentary is a leading contributor to a worldwide movement that connects climate change with regenerative agriculture.

Narrated by Demi Moore and starring Woody Harrelson, the film also includes a special appearance by Prince William, the son of King Charles. The King was deeply moved by the couple’s earlier film, Kiss The Ground, which delves into how regenerative agriculture can help heal the environment. He personally shared the film with more than a thousand individuals, even reaching out to the farmers featured in the documentary.

Rebecca shared how the King invited them to Dumfries House in Scotland after being impressed by Kiss The Ground, stating that it was his favorite film. The King expressed his belief that spreading the message of regeneration on Earth is his purpose, a sentiment that resonated with the filmmakers.

The filmmakers emphasized that Groundswell is not your typical environmental documentary but a film that concerns everyone’s future. They described it as a ‘six-pint’ movie, perfect for a date night conversation starter. Josh emphasized the importance of the film, highlighting the critical issue of feeding ourselves on Earth and suggesting that this could be the most vital film viewers watch this year.

The documentary premiered globally at the Cannes Film Festival and boasts a star-studded lineup. Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson, both parents, found personal motivation in the film’s message, realizing the impact on future generations. The filmmakers’ children even had the opportunity to walk the red carpet at Cannes, creating a memorable experience for the family.

Rebecca expressed relief at finally releasing the third film, emphasizing that Groundswell is not just a movie but a narrative of a global movement striving for a regenerative and stable future. The filmmakers aim to catalyze change on a massive scale, reaching a billion acres globally in regeneration.

Josh highlighted the significance of the film in the context of the UK’s current farming crisis, emphasizing the shift from an eco-issue to a mainstream concern. Groundswell features prominent figures like Andy Cato and Jeremy Clarkson, making it a compelling watch for UK audiences with the potential to impact lives and the country.

Groundswell will premiere on Amazon Prime worldwide on June 5. Follow Mirror Celebs on various platforms for more showbiz news and updates.
