A disturbing series of videos have surfaced showing students being physically assaulted at a school, prompting cries for help from the victims. Concerned parents at Firhill High School in Edinburgh, Scotland, are alarmed by the safety of their children following the circulation of three graphic videos depicting abuse. In one video, filmed in a school restroom, three boys are seen attacking a young student who pleads for them to stop.

The terrified student can be heard screaming for help as the group violently assaults him. He is repeatedly kicked and one of the assailants even slams his head against a sink. Another distressing clip shows a group of boys in a wooded area punching each other while a frightened boy on the ground is kicked repeatedly, with voices in the background urging the violence to cease.

A third video captures two girls fighting outside, pulling each other’s hair and engaging in physical altercations. Parents, disturbed by the lack of consequences at Firhill High School, expressed their concerns over the ongoing incidents of violence. One parent, requesting anonymity for their child’s safety, recounted multiple fights and incidents resulting in hospitalizations since the start of the school year. The parent emphasized the need for accountability and action to address the behavior of students involved in the attacks.

Following the public outcry, Edinburgh education chief councillor James Dalgleish expressed deep shock after witnessing the footage and assured parents of his commitment to addressing the issue seriously. He condemned the bullying and violent behavior, emphasizing the importance of schools as safe learning environments. Dalgleish pledged to provide support to the victims and their families and confirmed that steps were being taken by school leadership to address the unacceptable conduct. Collaboration with educational authorities and law enforcement was also promised to swiftly tackle the matter.
