Gilbert, known for her role in “Little House on the Prairie,” expressed concerns about the industry’s treatment of child actors. She emphasized the need for children to have the freedom to say no and not be exploited, pointing out the industry’s lack of adequate support for young performers.

Lee recently filed a lawsuit against Disney, alleging abuse by a former employee during her teenage years. Disney has yet to respond to the allegations.
