A 21-year-old British traveler has gone missing during his vacation overseas. The family of Joshua, from Grimsby, raised concerns when he failed to contact them after his arrival in Thailand, specifically in the popular tourist spot of Pattaya. Joshua was traveling alone at the time of his disappearance.

According to his family, Joshua was scheduled to depart Bangkok on January 19 and arrive back in the UK on January 20. He had already checked into his hotel before his last communication with his mother on Monday.

In efforts to locate Joshua, his family has reached out to border and local authorities in Thailand, as well as the British embassy in Bangkok. The authorities and embassy staff are providing updates to Joshua’s family.

In a separate incident, a 63-year-old British tourist named Gordon Dewar was rescued in Thailand after spending a night lost in a jungle infested with snakes. Gordon had ventured off the main road during a cycling trip in northern Thailand. He got lost in the forest and decided to camp overnight before contacting the police the next day.

Gordon, who was found by rescue teams, expressed gratitude for being rescued, as he had run out of food and water. The rescue involved motocross riders and drone operators, with Gordon being located exhausted and dehydrated in the jungle.

The rescue team faced challenges due to the mountainous terrain but successfully brought Gordon to safety. He was slightly fatigued from lack of nourishment but overall in normal condition.
