ITV has officially announced a revamped broadcasting lineup for 2026 as part of a new agreement with the PDC. Luke Littler, the current world champion, will be back in action tonight after his remarkable triumph at Ally Pally.
In anticipation of the upcoming coverage, ITV revealed the programming changes following the confirmation of their fresh three-year contract with the PDC. The channel is set to air matches from various prestigious dart events including the World Masters, UK Open, World Series of Darts Finals, European Championship, Players Championship Finals, and global World Series of Darts events.
Pete Graves and Gabbie Partington from Sky Sports will lead the hosting duties for ITV’s coverage. The punditry team will feature renowned individuals such as five-time World Championship semi-finalist Wayne Mardle and ex-Premier League champion Glen Durrant, among others.
Moreover, the commentary booth will see some adjustments, with Dan Dawson teaming up with talkSPORT commentator Mark Wilson, alongside the continued presence of legendary broadcaster Ian Danter.
PDC’s Chief Executive, Matt Porter, expressed his delight over the extended partnership with ITV, emphasizing the significance of providing free-to-air coverage for UK fans amidst the growing popularity of darts. Niall Sloane, ITV’s Director of Sport, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the network’s commitment to expanding and extending live darts coverage for the UK audience.
The Bahrain Darts Masters is scheduled to start soon, featuring reigning champion Stephen Bunting and Luke Littler facing off against Paul Lim in the opening round. Sky has also enhanced its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports bundle to include additional streaming services and comprehensive coverage of various sporting events.
