Apple’s services are gaining immense popularity alongside its well-known hardware products like MacBooks, iPads, and iPhones. The tech giant has recently reported a highly successful year with a surge in users engaging with its music streaming, TV, and news platforms.

Apple Music, accessible on both iOS and Android devices, achieved unprecedented success in 2025, setting new records for listenership and subscriber growth. The platform introduced several enhancements, including Lyrics Translation and AutoMix features, enhancing the user experience.

In addition to the music platform’s success, Apple TV witnessed a significant increase in user engagement, with a 36% rise in viewing time for popular shows like Slow Horses and The Studio compared to the previous year. Apple TV expanded its content library by adding new shows and movies such as the F1 film starring Brad Pitt and the highly-rated drama Pluribus.

The App Store also had a strong year, attracting over 850 million weekly users globally. During the holiday season, the store experienced a surge in visitor numbers, resulting in record-breaking customer spending on digital products and services.

Apple Podcasts also saw remarkable growth, setting new records for listenership, plays, and subscriptions. Additionally, Apple made notable updates to its services, including expanding Apple Fitness+ availability to more regions and adding over 50 new games to Apple Arcade.

Furthermore, Apple extended its Share Item Location feature in Find My to 27 additional airlines, improving the tracking of lost luggage by 90%. Apple Maps enhanced its Detailed City Experience in new locations like New Orleans, Singapore, and Monaco, offering 3D landmark views, including a custom F1 Monaco Grand Prix experience.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services, commented on the successful year, highlighting the company’s dedication to innovation and global expansion across its service offerings. Apple’s commitment to enhancing user experiences was evident in the high levels of engagement seen during the holiday period.

Overall, 2025 was a groundbreaking year for Apple services, characterized by significant growth and continuous innovation in response to customer enthusiasm for the diverse range of offerings, from entertainment to daily essentials like Apple Pay and iCloud.
