Jake Paul has declared his intention to humiliate Anthony Joshua in their upcoming heavyweight clash scheduled for next month. The news of the potential fight between the two fighters emerged last week, surprising the boxing community. The bout, set to take place just days before Christmas, will consist of eight three-minute rounds with both fighters donning 10oz gloves. The outcome of the fight will impact their professional records.

Paul had a previous bout with Gervonta Davis canceled due to allegations against Davis. The last time Paul fought was in June when he secured a decision win over Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Despite criticism from some in the boxing world, Paul remains confident in his ability to defeat the two-time heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua.

Joshua, who last fought in September 2024 and suffered a knockout defeat, sees this fight as a warm-up before his return to the ring in February. Following these fights, he aims for a summer showdown with Tyson Fury. Various personalities, including rising heavyweight Moses Itauma, have expressed opinions on the fight, questioning Paul’s decision to accept the challenge.

Both fighters are eager to prove themselves, with Paul aiming to silence his doubters and Joshua looking to make a strong comeback. The fight is scheduled to take place in Miami on December 19, just before Christmas, with an estimated start time of 11pm local time. The event will be broadcast live on Netflix.
