A male suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the demise of an elderly female. The 75-year-old man was apprehended following the discovery of the 82-year-old woman at a residence on Elm Avenue in Cherry Willingham, Lincolnshire, on Monday afternoon.
Authorities have notified the woman’s relatives. Lincolnshire Police’s spokesperson stated that the investigation into the woman’s death is being treated as suspicious, pending the return of test results and toxicology reports to gain a better understanding of the circumstances. They have confirmed that no additional suspects are being sought in relation to the case.
