Celebrity Big Brother fans can’t believe Angellica Bell’s real age.

The television and radio presenter made her entrance into the Celebrity Big Brother house on Monday (April 7th), and stunned in a bright and cheerful yellow minidress. But her gorgeous look wasn’t the only thing leaving fans with their jaws on the floor, as many were shocked to find out how old the former CBBC star is.

Angellica celebrated her 49th birthday just a couple of weeks ago, but when fans saw her on their screens on the reality show last night, they felt as though they’d travelled back in time – as they claimed she still looked the same as she did on CBBC 25 years ago.

Fans flocked to social media to share their surprise at Angellica’s ageless looks, with some saying it even appeared she was “ageing backwards”.

Posting on X, one fan said: “I have aged more in twenty minutes than Angelica Bell has in 25 years. MOTHER.”

Another added: “I grew up 25 years ago watching Angelica Bell on CBBC, and she has not aged a day since … wild.”

Someone else agreed, writing: “Angelica Bell has not aged a day, which, to any 33-year-old like me who grew up with her on CBBC, hurts a little bit. She looks amazing!”

Born in 1976, Angellica was already an adult when she started her career as a roving reporter for Channel 4’s Big Breakfast in the late 1990s. But it was in 2000, at age 24, that she began working as a presenter between shows on CBBC.

Throughout the 2000s, she also became the main anchor of shows such as That’s Genius!, Xchange, 50/50, and Short Change. From 2004 to 2005 she presented CBBC’s The Saturday Show, before she eventually left CBBC in December 2006.

In more recent years, Angellica has appeared on episodes of The One Show and presented The Martin Lewis Money Show from 2020 until 2023. In 2017, she beat Dev Griffin and Ulrika Jonsson to be crowned the winner of Celebrity MasterChef, and she’ll be hoping to also make it deep into the competition in the CBB house.

Angellica will be spending the next few weeks living in a house with the likes of influencer and singer JoJo Siwa, Love Island star Chris Hughes, EastEnders legend Patsy Palmer, 90s singer Chesney Hawkes, and actor Mickey Rourke.

And she’s got the full support of her husband, fellow TV presenter Michael Underwood, who posted a touching message on social media just days before she entered the house.

Michael and Angellica have two children together, and Michael posted a glowing tribute to his wife for Mother’s Day at the end of March. Sharing an image of Angellica holding some toy flowers, he wrote: “I told you I’d get you some flowers. Happy Mother’s Day to the best mum our children could ever have.”
