Maura Higgins might have found herself a pair of new BFFs, superstars Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber.

The 34-year-old posted a photo from a private event at US festival Coachella which featured the two Los Angeles-based influencers hanging out at an 818 Tequila party in the festival. The booze brand is owned by 27-year-old Kylie’s sister Kendall, 29.

She wrote on the picture, shared to her Instagram stories: “Does this mean we’re besties now?” Maura flew to LA days after she was caught on camera appearing to kiss her I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! campmate Danny Jones – much to the horror of fans… and his wife.

She headed to the States for work, and she shared a snippet of what she has been up to on her TikTok channel last week. In the clip, filmed as part of her ambassadorship for British fast fashion brand Oh Polly, Maura unleashes her inner cowgirl to seductively clamber into the back of a pick up truck in sexy western wear. She captioned it, “Who’s ready for Coachella?”

The Jenner sisters have been besties with Justin Bieber’s wife Hailey, 28, for well over a decade. In 2018, Kendall told Elle that they became a triple threat friendship group after the sisters fell out over the future Mrs. Bieber.

She said: “[Hailey Bieber] was actually best friends with Kylie, and I was good friends with her cousin Ireland. Kylie was mad; I had to bring them back together and be like, ‘No, it’s okay, guys.’ But it’s all good; that’s our love story.” Maura might do well to find herself some new mates, or at least a new group chat.

On March 12, Danny celebrated his 39th birthday and his I’m A Celebrity co-stars reportedly wished him a happy birthday in their WhatsApp group chat.

“No one really ever speaks in it but on Danny’s birthday, everyone was pinging him a message in there,” an insider said to The Sun. “Maura didn’t send a message, which isn’t surprising.”

They have been wrapped up in scandal since video footage emerged as the kiss put strain on Danny’s marriage to former Miss England Georgia Horsley. Danny and Maura were seen looking close at a glitzy party before heading onto the five-star Nobu Hotel in London for more drinks.

Danny subsequently addressed what happened in a grovelling apology shared on social media when his wife temporarily moved out of the family home to spend time with her friends and “get away” from all that is going on.

In a statement, the McFly singer said: “Hello everyone, sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.

“I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.

“I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.”

Meanwhile, Maura recently took part in a huge shoot for fashion brand Oh Polly and shared snaps from her American getaway on social media. Despite painting a picture she has brushed off the scandal, sources have told The Mirror it has been a tough few weeks for the star.

Maura recently gave her own insight into her thoughts on being involved in the scandal as she ‘liked’ a fan comment on her recent post. A follower supported Maura and wrote: “You are unreal. Don’t listen to the haters. U are a diamond.”
