1. Aberfoyle Antique Market: Located just south of Guelph, Ont., the Aberfoyle Antique Market is dubbed the largest of its kind in Canada. With over 100 vendors offering a variety of collectibles, furniture, and folk art, this market is open every Sunday until Oct. 25. Additionally, there are two Saturday Special Shows each year with more than 150 vendors, with the next one scheduled for Sept. 19.
2. Old Strathcona Antique Mall Parking Lot Sale: Several times during the summer, the Old Strathcona Antique Mall in Edmonton hosts a seasonal sale in its parking lot, allowing visitors to explore vintage treasures outdoors in addition to the mall’s 120 indoor vendors. The upcoming sales will be held on July 12, Aug. 3, and Sept. 7, while the mall operates from Tuesday to Sunday weekly.
3. Saugeen Shores Antique & Collectible Show: Celebrating its 48th year, this show will take place on July 18 and 19 at the Southampton Coliseum in Southampton, Ont. Featuring over 80 vendors selling vintage clothing, jewelry, furniture, and more, attendees can expect to find items such as Pyrex tableware, retro toys, and rare trading cards.
4. Vintage Pasture Sale: The sixth annual Vintage Pasture Sale will host more than 40 vendors selling vintage and antique treasures at Locality Brewing in Langley, B.C., on July 18. Modeled after French brocantes, this event will also include food trucks, farm stands, and a beer garden for visitors to enjoy.
5. Sussex Flea Market: Held at Princess Louise Park in Sussex, N.B., from Aug. 14 to 16, this outdoor event organized by the New Brunswick Antique Auto Club is anticipated to feature over 800 vendors offering a wide range of items, from second-hand household goods to rare collectibles.
6. Fraser Valley Antiques & Collectibles Club Vintage Collectibles & Antiques Show: Taking place on Aug. 28 and 29 at Queen’s Park Arena in New Westminster, B.C., this annual summer show organized by the Fraser Valley Antiques & Collectibles Club will feature over 200 booths selling vintage clothing, sports memorabilia, small furniture, and more.
7. Odessa Antique Show: Scheduled for Aug. 8 and 9 at the Odessa Fairgrounds, just west of Kingston, Ont., this long-standing outdoor antique show will showcase vendors from Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada offering items such as furniture, toys, glassware, and antique china. Visitors are encouraged to explore the nearby antique shops in the Kingston area as well.
8. Cookstown Antique & Vintage Show: The Cookstown Antique & Vintage Market hosts two annual outdoor events, with the next one set for Sept. 12 at the Georgian Bay Steam Show Grounds in Cookstown, Ont. Featuring over 100 vendors, this event will include food trucks for a complete experience. Enthusiasts can find a full list of vendors on the show’s website later in the summer.
