However, Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy affirmed the UK’s unwavering stance on Greenland’s future being determined by its people, despite the US President’s warnings.
Nandy clarified that the UK will not engage in a verbal conflict with the US and escalate tensions. She dismissed the notion of delaying the King’s state visit as a retaliatory measure, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a clear position while pursuing collective interests.
