A woman from the UK testified in court that Barron Trump, the youngest son of Donald Trump, played a critical role in saving her life. The incident occurred when Barron witnessed her ex-boyfriend physically assaulting her during a FaceTime call and promptly dialed emergency services.
Barron, aged 19, was conversing with the woman in January 2025 when he observed the violent attack allegedly carried out by her ex-partner, Matvei Rumiantsev, a 22-year-old former MMA fighter. Rumiantsev is currently facing trial for multiple charges, including assault, bodily harm, rape, strangulation, and obstructing justice, all of which he denies.
Prosecutors claim that Rumiantsev became enraged due to the woman’s friendship with Barron, leading to the violent outburst on January 18 of the previous year. The court heard details of the assault, including physical violence and verbal abuse inflicted by Rumiantsev on the woman.
