A couple who had recently gotten married narrowly escaped a tragic accident when the taxi they were traveling in collided with a Seat Leon, resulting in the deaths of four individuals. Georgina and Tom Daniels expressed their disbelief at surviving the crash, which occurred on a street in Bolton, Greater Manchester, in the early hours of Sunday, January 11.

The taxi driver, Masrob Ali, aged 54, and three young men from the Seat Leon, identified as Mohammed Jibrael Mukhtar, Farhan Patel, and Mohammed Danyaal, all between 18 and 19 years old, succumbed to their injuries. Despite sustaining life-altering injuries, Mr. and Mrs. Daniels managed to survive the collision.

Mrs. Daniels, 28, shared her astonishment from her hospital bed, reflecting on the near-fatal accident and the aftermath. The group, including the Daniels and their friends, had to be rescued from the severely damaged Citroen after the head-on collision, which took place in an area known for previous serious accidents.

Following the incident, the Daniels face the challenge of rebuilding their lives separately. Mrs. Daniels, an NHS manager, highlighted the dangers of reckless driving, citing a recent video of a car speeding at 122mph in the same area. The Greater Manchester Police are utilizing the footage in their investigation.

Describing the tragic turn of events that occurred during a night out in Bolton, Mrs. Daniels expressed her disbelief at the catastrophic outcome, especially considering it was meant to be a farewell celebration for friends embarking on a journey to Australia. A GoFundMe appeal has been set up to assist the Daniels and their friends financially during their recovery phase.
