Two teenagers were hospitalized after falling from a cliff at Berowra Valley National Park in Cherrybrook. The incident occurred around 5:15 pm on Friday, January 30th. A 17-year-old boy sustained multiple injuries in the fall, while a 16-year-old girl was also treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for her fall over the cliff.
Authorities from the South Wales Police have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances of the incident. According to a NSW police spokesperson, emergency services responded to the scene promptly and found the injured teenagers. The 17-year-old boy, in critical condition, is being stabilized by a medical team before being transported to Royal North Shore Hospital. The 16-year-old girl’s condition is reported as stable after being taken to the same hospital.
Additionally, a 47-year-old woman received treatment for shock at the scene. The Hills Police Area Command officers are assisting paramedics and the Rural Fire Service in the ongoing operation to manage the situation effectively.
