In a posthumous autobiography, Virginia Giuffre made several shocking allegations, with one accusation striking fear into parents everywhere.

Virginia tragically passed away at 41 by suicide in April 2025, but her written work ensured her narrative would resonate far beyond her brief time alive. Published in October 2025, “Nobody’s Girl” details her grooming by predators Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein while working as a teenage spa staffer at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

Maxwell, now imprisoned for sex trafficking offenses, purportedly approached Virginia under the guise of hiring her as a masseuse for Epstein, a well-connected financier. Virginia claimed they had darker intentions.

According to Virginia, she quickly found herself ensnared in Epstein and Maxwell’s abusive world, coerced into intimate engagements with affluent and influential individuals.

Allegedly, this roster included a prominent politician who reportedly assaulted her severely. Notably, Virginia asserted encountering Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, also known as Prince Andrew, in 2001, accusing him of multiple sexual abuses.

Amid mounting scrutiny for his association with Epstein, Andrew vehemently refuted all allegations against him.

During her harrowing experiences with Maxwell and Epstein, Virginia described numerous frightening and degrading encounters. However, one pivotal moment prompted her to flee the “house of shame” in which she felt trapped.

In her bestselling book, Virginia recounted how Epstein and Maxwell pressured her to conceive Epstein’s child and relinquish all parental rights to him. This led Virginia to contemplate a disturbing scenario: if she had a daughter, would Epstein and Maxwell groom the child for abuse after reaching puberty?

Virginia previously disclosed to the Miami Herald that Epstein lost interest in her around 2003 as she aged. She persuaded Epstein to allow her to pursue professional masseuse training in Thailand, where she met and married Australian martial arts expert Robert in 2002, starting a new life in Australia. When she notified Epstein of her decision not to return to the US, he callously bid her farewell before ending the call.

Drawing from her own trauma, Virginia later advocated for sex trafficking victims and established Speak Out, Act, Reclaim (SOAR), a non-profit empowering survivors to reclaim their narratives and combat sex trafficking.

In June 2022, Maxwell received a twenty-year prison sentence after conviction on charges related to sex trafficking and other crimes linked to her association with Epstein. Epstein, a convicted sex offender, died in jail in August 2019, ruled a suicide.

For those impacted by sexual assault, support and resources are available through www.rapecrisis.org.uk or the national helpline at 0808 802 9999.
