Tyson Fury has outlined his top three desired opponents as he prepares to make a comeback to the boxing ring later this year, with a potential clash against Anthony Joshua at the forefront of his plans.

The former heavyweight champion had previously announced his retirement after facing consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk but has since reversed his decision. In recent months, Fury has been intensifying his training regimen and is currently in Thailand honing his skills for a promising return to the sport.

Training alongside WBC bridgerweight champion Kevin Lerena, the 37-year-old fighter has been vocal about his potential rivals, expressing interest in facing Usyk, Joshua, and Fabio Wardley. A social media post by Fury featured an image of him staring down these three heavyweight contenders, signaling his eagerness for upcoming challenges.

Fury also hinted at a possible bout with Wardley, suggesting a matchup could be on the horizon in 2026. Meanwhile, a trilogy fight with Usyk appears unlikely as the Ukrainian’s advisor indicated a lack of interest in reigniting their rivalry.

Despite initial talks of a showdown between Fury and Joshua, uncertainties have arisen following Joshua’s involvement in a tragic car accident in Nigeria, casting doubts on his future in the ring. Promoter Frank Warren acknowledged the potential delay in the Fury-Joshua bout, citing the need for both fighters to address personal challenges before committing to a match.

As the boxing world awaits further developments, the status of these anticipated bouts remains uncertain, with fans eagerly anticipating potential matchups involving Fury and his formidable rivals in the coming months.
