Millions of Sky Mobile subscribers are set to experience an increase in their monthly bills starting next month due to a newly announced price hike. The majority of customers will witness a £1.50 per month increase, totaling £18 annually, although some may face varying adjustments.

This adjustment will be reflected in customers’ bills from February 14, 2026, marking the first price alteration for in-contract Sky Mobile customers in over seven years. Should customers be dissatisfied with the increase and still within the minimum contract term, they have the option to cancel without incurring an early termination fee.

Notably, the pricing for the Sky Mobile social tariff, catering to individuals with limited income, will remain unchanged. The price modification is attributed to escalating wholesale network costs, with affected customers set to receive notifications starting today.

A spokesperson for Sky Mobile explained that the £1.50 monthly increase for most customers is necessary to maintain the expected quality, service, and value. This decision was made after a considerable period of not adjusting mobile prices mid-contract, reflecting industry-wide cost pressures and the company’s commitment to investing in network and customer experience.

In a similar vein, O2 announced a planned increment of £2.50 per month for nearly all mobile and SIM-only contract customers from April 2026, surpassing the initial £1.80 raise. Additionally, Three mobile users opting for data plans under 4GB will face a £1.80 monthly increase from April 2026, an uptick from the current £1 raise.

Moreover, Three customers with data plans ranging from 4GB to 100GB can expect a £1.90 monthly surge, while those exceeding 100GB will incur a £2.30 monthly increment. Three broadband subscribers will witness a £3.50 monthly bill hike starting April 2026.

Vodafone customers opting for new deals from November 12 will experience a £2.50 monthly increase for mobile services, with Basics SIM plan users facing a £1.50 rise. Vodafone broadband users are also slated for a monthly increase of £3.50. Existing Vodafone or Three broadband and mobile contract holders will witness price adjustments as per their initial agreements.
