The US president, described as “eccentric,” aims to station atomic strike forces on the world’s largest island to establish nuclear dominance over Russia and China, as stated by Dmitry Rogozin. Rogozin, a Putin-supporting senator from occupied Ukraine and a former high-ranking official with a background in space exploration and NATO representation, highlighted Trump’s declaration of securing Greenland by any means necessary.
Rogozin, who oversees a military drone unit targeting Ukrainian forces, expressed concerns that Trump’s Greenland plans could lead to catastrophic outcomes. He linked the land acquisition to the US’s proposed ‘Golden Dome’ missile defense system, claiming that Greenland’s strategic location and proximity to Russia make it an ideal site for such military installations.
