Prince Andrew, also known as Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, will be celebrating his birthday next month amid a significant personal transition. The former prince is preparing to vacate his current residence at Royal Lodge before his 66th birthday on February 19, with plans to embark on a fresh start, as shared by a close acquaintance.

Andrew is scheduled to relocate to Marsh Farm on the King’s Sandringham estate, although the property requires renovations. In the meantime, he will be residing in a temporary nearby accommodation until the refurbishments are completed.

Recent observations show workers at Marsh Farm, where six-foot wooden fences have been erected for privacy and security measures, working on making the property suitable for the disgraced Duke. It is anticipated that he will be able to move in around Easter when the renovation work is anticipated to conclude.

A source from the Palace informed the Sun that despite weather conditions, the progress on Marsh Farm continues, highlighting the need for significant attention to render the property habitable. It is acknowledged that Marsh Farm is notably smaller and less opulent compared to Royal Lodge.

Despite the challenges, Andrew is reportedly embracing the change according to a friend, who revealed his decision to initiate this transition earlier than expected, aiming to start anew by the end of the month or before his upcoming birthday in February. This move will also mark the first time in nearly two decades that Andrew and Sarah, his former wife, will be living separately.

Sarah has been residing with her ex-husband in the Grade II-listed mansion since 2008, following their divorce in 1996. While her future plans remain undisclosed, reports suggest she is exploring properties in the Windsor area to establish her own residence, staying within the familiar surroundings she has inhabited for many years.

Both of Sarah’s daughters have extended offers for her accommodation. Princess Beatrice is said to have provided a converted cattle shed as a “granny annex” in her luxurious Cotswolds property, while Princess Eugenie has set aside a “grand suite” in their opulent seafront mansion in Portugal for her mother.

Known for her resilience and ability to navigate through challenges, Sarah Ferguson has encountered various scandals throughout her life. The possibility of her making a comeback remains uncertain. Biographer Andrew Lownie, author of “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” highlighted Sarah’s knack for reinvention, emphasizing her tendency to portray herself as a victim, a strategy that resonates well particularly in the United States.
