Ben Needham, who was last sighted on July 24, 1991, playing near a dilapidated farmhouse owned by his grandparents on the island of Kos in Greece, has never been located. His mother, Kerry Needham, has rejected the prevailing theory that he was accidentally crushed by a construction vehicle and buried, instead suggesting that he might have been taken by a human trafficking organization.
In an interview with The Sun from her residence in Antalya, Turkey, Kerry Needham mentioned receiving an email from a woman who suspects her partner could be her missing son. Although she acknowledged some compelling coincidences and discrepancies in his past, she expressed cautiousness due to the limited information available about the man in question.
The details have been forwarded to the South Yorkshire Police, who are leading the UK side of the investigation while Greek authorities handle matters in Europe. This new hypothesis, fueled by a conversation with a man who claims to have been trafficked from Greece to New York, diverges significantly from the family’s initial belief that Ben might have been taken in by the local community.
