Hyperoptic has recently announced an increase in monthly bills for its broadband customers. Starting from April 2026, customers will face a £4 per month rise, up from the previous £3 increase. This change impacts both new and existing customers across all Hyperoptic broadband plans. Previously, Hyperoptic had opposed annual price hikes but has now joined other major telecom companies in implementing larger increases.
In contrast, Sky Mobile has notified its customers of a £1.50 monthly bill increase effective February 14, 2026, marking its first price adjustment for in-contract customers in over seven years. O2 has also revealed that most of its mobile and SIM-only contract customers will experience a £2.50 monthly rise from April 2026, surpassing the initial planned increase of £1.80.
Three mobile users opting for data plans of 4GB or less will encounter a £1.80 monthly increase from April 2026, an 80p rise compared to the current £1 increment. Customers with plans ranging between 4GB and 100GB will see a £1.90 rise, while those with over 100GB will face a £2.30 hike per month. Moreover, Three broadband subscribers will witness a £3.50 increase starting April 2026.
Vodafone mobile customers entering a new deal from November 12 will experience a monthly bill rise of £2.50, or £1.50 for Basics SIM plans, whereas Vodafone broadband users will encounter a £3.50 monthly price surge. Existing Vodafone or Three contract holders will witness the previously agreed-upon price adjustments.
For those without a contract, it’s advisable to compare prices online to potentially save money on mobile and broadband services. Assess your usage needs to avoid overpaying for unused allowances. Consider switching providers or negotiating with your current one for a better deal. Additionally, individuals receiving benefits should check for eligibility for discounted social tariffs.
