Musk stated that he consistently turned down invitations from Epstein to visit his island or fly on the private plane known as the ‘Lolita Express’. He emphasized his awareness that some emails could be misinterpreted to tarnish his reputation but stressed the importance of pursuing justice for those involved in severe crimes with Epstein, particularly the exploitation of minors.
In a post on X, Musk dismissed the release of Epstein files as a distraction and called for concrete legal actions against individuals linked to Epstein’s crimes. The documents revealed Musk discussing a potential visit to Epstein’s island for a party, but Musk emphasized that being mentioned in the documents does not imply any wrongdoing.
The emails between Musk and Epstein, dated years after Epstein’s conviction for child prostitution, indicated casual discussions about social events and potential visits. Musk expressed a desire for a lively party scene during the Christmas period but clarified that he was not seeking a tranquil island experience.
Despite the friendly exchanges, Musk reiterated that he declined Epstein’s invitations to his island. The nature of the relationship between Musk and Epstein remains under scrutiny, but Musk has maintained his stance of rejecting visits to Epstein’s private domain.
