Carey Price is set to be honored at the Bell Centre, where he has spent his entire NHL career. The Montreal Canadiens have announced that Price will return to the Bell Centre on November 10 to celebrate his upcoming Hall of Fame induction, which is scheduled for the day before.
As the 62nd member of the organization to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, Price will also be added to the Bell Centre’s Ring of Honour, a recognition reserved for former players who have achieved greatness in hockey.
Throughout his 15-year career in Montreal, Price played 712 games, maintaining a 2.51 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage. He holds the franchise record for most games played and victories as a goaltender.
The celebration of Price’s accomplishments will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild. Additionally, Price was a seven-time all-star and was selected fifth overall in the 2005 NHL Entry draft.
The Montreal Canadiens will commence their pre-season on September 19, with their regular season opening game set for September 29 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
