Apple has unveiled its latest iPhone 17e model, offering significant enhancements at an attractive price point. Equipped with a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging capability, durable construction, and an impressive single-lens camera, the device is priced at £599, marking a £200 reduction compared to Apple’s flagship iPhone.
While the iPhone 17e stands out, Samsung has also introduced new budget-friendly options with the launch of the A57 and A37 models, starting at £399.
Although the Samsung devices may not match the performance or advanced charging features of the iPhone 17e, they offer a 6.7-inch screen with 120Hz technology, surpassing the 60Hz capability of the 17e for smoother browsing, email navigation, and gaming experiences.
Both Galaxy models boast impressive features such as large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and P68 water and dust resistance ratings.
Samsung has integrated various smart features into its new devices to cater to users embracing AI in their daily routines. The Galaxy A37 and A57 support Google’s Circle to Search for quick web queries and offer enhanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser, Best Face, and Edit Suggestions for effortless photo adjustments and sharing.
Additionally, the phones introduce enhanced Voice Transcription functionality within the Voice Recorder app, enabling quick transcription, translation of call recordings, and conversion of voicemail audio into text for easier review of important details from various interactions.
Samsung has committed to providing extended support for the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G models, promising up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security patches.
Both models will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting April 10th, with the Galaxy A57 5G priced from £529 (256GB) and the Galaxy A37 5G starting at £399 (128GB).
Color options for the Galaxy A57 5G include Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 5G will be offered in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White.
