Apple has introduced the all-new MacBook Neo, a visually appealing laptop that offers a more budget-friendly option for consumers. Priced at £599, the MacBook Neo is significantly cheaper than the latest M5-powered MacBook Air, starting at £500 less.
Despite its lower price point, the MacBook Neo maintains a premium look and feel with features such as an elegant aluminum design, a vibrant 13-inch Liquid Retina display, a long-lasting 16-hour battery life, and a comfortable keyboard ideal for daily use. Buyers can select from four striking color options: Silver, Citrus, Indigo, and Blush.
To keep costs down, Apple has equipped the MacBook Neo with the A18 Pro chip, typically found in the company’s smartphones. This configuration still provides ample power for everyday activities like web browsing, video editing, photo retouching, and streaming content on the go.
While the £599 base price is appealing, Sky has introduced a contract deal that further reduces the upfront expense. The offer includes the MacBook Neo on a 48-month contract for £12.50 per month, along with a SIM card offering 100MB of free data.
Important details of the deal include a £24 initial payment and a total cost of £624 over the contract term, slightly higher than purchasing the laptop outright. The £12.50 monthly fee applies to the 256GB model without a Touch ID fingerprint scanner. For the 512GB version with Touch ID, the monthly cost is £15.
Aside from Sky, the MacBook Neo is also available at major retailers like Argos, Currys, and Amazon.
