In 2025, a smartwatch priced significantly lower than Apple’s popular model and an economical supermarket ketchup have been recognized among the top products of the year. Consumer organization Which? meticulously tested over 2,000 items to determine their quality and value, resulting in the publication of the best 50 products that excelled in various aspects. Some were deemed superior, others innovative, and a few surprisingly affordable given their quality.

Leading the selection is the Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch, praised for its exceptional value at under £63, which is a fraction of the cost of Apple’s equivalent. Despite the lower price, the smartwatch boasts similar quality, particularly lauded for its exercise tracking and GPS features. Which? awarded the device a perfect five-star rating for its user-friendly interface and high-quality display, describing it as a standout product that epitomizes premium quality at an accessible price point.

Securing the third spot is Asda’s Classic Tomato Ketchup, commended for its rich and well-balanced flavor profile, rivaling renowned brands like Heinz in taste tests while being significantly more budget-friendly. The ketchup, priced at £1.39, was highlighted for offering excellent value at a fraction of the cost of its competitors.

Ranked second in the lineup is Skoda’s Elroq electric car, the most expensive item in the top 50 list at over £30,000. Which? praised the vehicle for its cost-effectiveness in terms of both purchase price and running expenses, emphasizing its premium quality and performance that surpass its rivals.

Additionally, the annual top 50 ranking included a range of products from household appliances to cutting-edge technology, demonstrating a diverse selection of top-performing items that cater to various needs. Harry Rose, editor of Which? Magazine, emphasized that the standout products of 2025 were those that enhanced home life, reflecting a growing demand for products that combine quality, convenience, and enjoyment.

The list also features items such as a TV, mobile phone, oven, vacuum cleaner, binoculars, and laptop, showcasing the diverse range of products that excelled in performance and value according to Which?’s rigorous testing criteria.
