Despite facing competition from prominent stables like Gordon Elliott and Henry de Bromhead, as well as the talented Rocky’s Diamond, Connor King emerged victorious with Oscars Brother, expertly guided by his brother Daniel.
Maintaining a prominent position throughout the race, Oscars Brother, the 7-4 favorite, showcased impeccable jumping skills and finished three lengths ahead of Koktail Divin from De Bromhead’s yard. Prior to the three-mile race at Punchestown, Oscars Brother had prepared on challenging ground at Galway.
The duo now harbors hopes of nurturing a Grade One contender at their modest stable, which currently houses only one other racehorse.
