A teenager has achieved a remarkable feat by setting a Guinness World Record for amassing the largest collection of Jellycat memorabilia. Despite this accomplishment, the collector, Hope Roberts, has no intentions of halting her pursuit of expanding her already substantial assortment.

Hope, who is 19 years old and hails from Bedford, initiated her collection journey two years ago. In December, her impressive collection was officially recognized with a count of 877 Jellycat items. However, a recent inventory revealed that her collection has now grown to 1,021 cuddly toys, key rings, stickers, and various other items.

Expressing her passion for Jellycats, Hope shares her discoveries on her TikTok and Instagram accounts, emphasizing the joy these cuddly toys bring her. Her collection is prominently displayed in both her bedroom and her childhood bedroom at her parents’ house, showcasing items regardless of whether they are preloved, secondhand, or brand new.

Jellycat, a British soft toy company established in 1999, has gained immense global popularity in recent years, becoming a viral sensation. Hope’s fascination with Jellycats began with a chance encounter at a charity shop, where she purchased a cream bunny with a pink bow for a mere 20p. The uniqueness and variety of Jellycat products captivated her, leading to a rapid yet gradual growth of her collection.

Hope’s rarest Jellycat treasures include medium and small Bashful Maple Bunnies, acquired at a bargain price. These items have garnered significant resale value, with listings on platforms like eBay reaching up to £2,000. Despite the increasing demand for Jellycats, Hope values her personal connections to the toys, including a rare and retired Juniper Lux bashful bunny personalized with her name.

With a substantial following on social media, including 29k followers on TikTok and 22k followers on Instagram (@hopesjellycats), Hope regularly shares updates and seasonal displays of her Jellycat collection. Her dedication and enthusiasm culminated in her receiving the Guinness World Record for the largest assembly of Jellycat memorabilia on December 3, 2025.

Following a meticulous counting process overseen by adjudicator Emma, Hope’s achievement was officially recognized. Emma praised Hope’s organization and enthusiasm, describing her as a bright and bubbly individual who was overjoyed to receive the prestigious Guinness World Records title. Hope’s commitment to her collection and the Jellycat community continues to inspire others to appreciate and collect these beloved toys.
