A significant presence of emergency services was observed at a park following the discovery of a woman’s body. The incident occurred in Roath Park, Cardiff, where the woman’s body was retrieved from a lake on Sunday morning after a notification to South Wales Police around 8.30 am.
According to a police spokesperson, the situation is not considered suspicious, and investigations into the events leading to her death are ongoing. The woman’s next of kin have been notified, and formal identification is scheduled for later that Sunday.
Throughout the morning, police and ambulance teams remained on-site, with a white forensic tent set up at the water’s edge, surrounded by police tape, as reported by WalesOnline. Initial reports indicated the presence of approximately five police cars at the location.
