A 47-year-old dancer and choreographer from the Brazilian version of Dancing With The Stars was discovered deceased in his residence in Curitiba. Léo Blanco was found unresponsive in his apartment on Friday. The cause of his death is currently undisclosed.

Léo, who hailed from Cascavel in southern Brazil, rose to fame on the Brazilian show Dança dos Famosos, equivalent to Strictly Come Dancing. Mariana Xavier, an actress who partnered with Léo in 2017, expressed her grief on social media, praising him as a remarkable teacher and partner who played a significant role in fulfilling their shared dream.

His passion for dance began in his youth and flourished during his time at university, where he led two dance companies. Léo gained widespread recognition upon joining Dança dos Famosos. He partnered with singer Luisa Sonza and later with Lucy Ramos, with whom he achieved victory in 2020 before being replaced by fellow dancer Reginaldo Sama.

Following his passing, fans and friends flooded his social media accounts with tributes, recalling his kindness and warmth. Many expressed shock and sorrow over the loss of such a beloved figure. Leo’s social media presence often delighted fans with snapshots showcasing his fit physique and snippets from his gym sessions and travels, including a recent visit to Rio De Janeiro.
