Founder and chairman of Wetherspoon, Tim Martin, emphasized the rationale behind the January Sale, stating that just like department stores and shops, pubs should host sales in January. He expressed confidence that the sale’s diverse range of drinks and food options, catering to various preferences including a wide selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks, will be well-received by customers. The sale will run from January 2 in 600 pubs, extending until January 15, with Scottish locations starting on January 3. Prices may vary at Wetherspoon’s other 200 venues.
