Donald Trump and his supporters have been accused of distorting the tragic incident involving the victim of the Minneapolis shooting, portraying her as a “domestic terrorist.” However, newly released footage has raised doubts about this narrative.

Renee Nicole Good, a mother of three, had dropped off her six-year-old son at school before encountering a group of ICE agents. She was fatally shot three times and collided with a parked vehicle on Wednesday. Following her death, Trump’s associates labeled her as someone who “weaponized her vehicle,” with JD Vance even calling it a “tragedy of her own making.”

Despite efforts by the White House to defend the ICE agent involved in the shooting, his own bodycam footage tells a different story. The video, released by online site Alpha News, shows the ICE agent walking around Good’s vehicle while filming with his phone, capturing her face and license plate.

In the footage, Good is seen calmly telling the officer, “That’s fine, dude. I’m not mad at you.” She then moves her car to allow other vehicles to pass as the immigration officers continue to question her.

The video further reveals a moment where Good turns her steering wheel away from the ICE agent, not towards him, before three gunshots are heard. The agent is heard using derogatory language towards Good after the shooting.

This footage contradicts the claims made by Trump’s team, who sought to downplay Good’s death and the ensuing protests in a city still reeling from past tragedies. Minneapolis has been a target of Trump’s criticism, but the video evidence now speaks for itself.

JD Vance recently held a press conference accusing the media of misrepresenting the incident, claiming that Good intentionally aimed her car at the ICE agent. However, the video footage presents a different sequence of events.

Good, an award-winning poet from Colorado Springs, was described by her first husband as a devoted Christian who had engaged in youth missions in Northern Ireland. Her wife, Rebecca Good, paid a heartfelt tribute to her, calling her “pure love” and “pure sunshine.”

While authorities sought to defend the ICE agent’s actions, the released footage provides conflicting evidence. Good’s loved ones remember her as a caring Christian, in stark contrast to the attempts by some politicians to diminish her tragic death.
