Local residents are questioning the impact Mr. Farage has had on the area, labeling him as insincere. One former supporter mentioned that they would not back Reform UK in future elections. Retired Jonathan Roberts, 61, stated that he has rarely seen Mr. Farage in the constituency and accused him of exploiting Clacton for personal gain rather than serving the community.

John Roat, a 49-year-old entertainment manager who had previously supported Reform UK, indicated that he would not do so again due to the perceived lack of impact Mr. Farage has had in Clacton.
