Jamie Lee Arrow’s adolescence was marked by a disturbing family history. When she was only nine years old, she discovered that her father had murdered and cannibalized his girlfriend.
Her father, Isakin Drabbad, had separated from Jamie’s mother when she was just a toddler. Despite the separation, Jamie stayed in contact with him and developed a close bond with his new partner, Helle Christensen, who played a maternal role in her life.
However, Helle and Isakin’s relationship was tumultuous and violent, with Jamie witnessing unsettling conflicts between them as a child. On one occasion, Helle ominously told Jamie while serving her a meal: “Enjoy your meal… this is the last time I’ll ever cook for you, because Isakin is going to kill me.”
Tragically, Helle’s prophecy came true. In November 2010, Drabbad, who identified as a Satanist, brutally killed Helle by slashing her throat, beheading her, and consuming parts of her body.
In a recent emotional interview with LadBible, Jamie recounted how her mother shielded her from the harsh reality of her father’s actions, remarking: “My life was completely shattered.”
During Drabbad’s trial, the details of his heinous crimes shocked the Swedish public. He gruesomely mutilated Helle’s body with a knife, saw, and axe, even resorting to cannibalizing parts of her flesh, which he cooked with cannabis leaves. Reports indicated he had intentions of consuming Helle’s head as well.
Despite his conviction and confinement in a secure psychiatric facility, Drabbad remained in the spotlight. While hospitalized, he formed a relationship with “Vampire killer” Michelle Gustafsson, another patient. Drabbad also engaged with the public through a blog where he callously discussed his offenses.
In a disturbing video posted on YouTube, Drabbad expressed his disdain for humanity, stating: “I consider myself anti-human. There’s nothing about humans that I appreciate.” He further promoted his dark persona by selling voodoo dolls online, signed with his own blood and labeled “They call me Skara Cannibal.”
Jamie, tormented by the repercussions of her father’s actions, faced bullying and substance abuse in her teenage years. Despite attempting to maintain a connection with her father during prison visits, Drabbad abruptly cut off all communication after a threatening message to Jamie and her family.
Today, Jamie’s priority is shielding her children from the darkness she experienced in her upbringing, determined to provide them with a safe and nurturing environment.
