Donald Trump’s security detail includes a heavily fortified vehicle worth £1.2 million and a specialized Hawkeye protection team.

During his second state visit to the UK, Trump is being hosted by King Charles at Windsor Castle, with a keen focus on security measures. His every move is closely monitored by security personnel, especially in light of recent events such as the tragic shooting of his associate Charlie Kirk.

One crucial component of Trump’s security setup is the £1.2 million Beast limousine. This armored vehicle boasts multiple layers of bulletproof glass, an armor-plated fuel tank, thick doors, provisions for the president’s blood, tear gas capabilities, reinforced tires, and a highly skilled chauffeur.

The Beast is renowned for its exceptional security features, capable of withstanding bomb blasts and gunfire. It is equipped with night vision cameras to navigate obstacles even in low-light conditions.

Featuring seven seats, including space for Secret Service agents, the vehicle also houses embedded shotguns for defensive purposes in case of an attack.

In addition to the armored limo, Trump is safeguarded by the Hawkeye team, a specialized unit tasked with protecting US presidents following the assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan in 1981. This team, known as the Secret Service Counter-Assault Team, is trained to respond swiftly to any threats against the president.

Members of the Hawkeye team are rigorously selected based on their physical fitness and marksmanship skills, including demanding tasks such as a timed run, pull-ups with added weight, kettlebell swings, and shooting drills.

Trump’s personal bodyguard carries the nuclear football, a briefcase containing the capability to initiate a nuclear strike with a designated “big red button.” This powerful weapon remains discreetly at hand throughout the president’s visit to the UK and for the duration of his term in office.
