A man from Scotland has gone missing during his vacation in Thailand. Kenny Robertson, aged 58, was last seen in South East Asia on January 5th.
According to his family, he was last in touch from Bangkok Airport on that day, with a brief email sent to a friend three days later. Since then, there have been no sightings or communications from Kenny. He was traveling alone in Thailand when he disappeared.
His relatives mentioned that it is unusual for him not to keep in contact. Kenny had planned to explore Thailand on his own for several weeks before volunteering at a dog sanctuary. However, the sanctuary has not heard from him.
The disappearance has been reported to Thai authorities, as per the Daily Record. In a plea shared on Facebook by his friend Jordan McLeod, it was highlighted that Kenny has not made contact with anyone, which is out of character for him.
A missing persons poster has been circulated on social media, along with an urgent request to locate him. Kenny is described as 5ft 6in tall and wears glasses.
Anyone with information about Kenny’s location is urged to contact the UK Foreign Office and police, or the local Thai authorities and the British Embassy in Bangkok if in Thailand.
In a separate incident, a 21-year-old British traveler has been reported missing while vacationing in Thailand. Joshua, from Grimsby, was traveling alone and was last known to be in Pattaya, a popular tourist destination. His family has appealed for help in finding him quickly.
Joshua is scheduled to depart Bangkok on January 19 and return to the UK on January 20. His family has been in touch with border and local police in Thailand, as well as the British embassy in Bangkok, for updates on the search.
