The individual accused in connection with the tragic car accident involving boxer Anthony Joshua has made a court appearance in Nigeria. The crash resulted in the deaths of Joshua’s personal trainer, Latif Ayodele, and strength coach, Sina Ghami, when their vehicle collided with a stationary lorry near Lagos on December 29. Although Joshua sustained injuries, he survived and was treated at a hospital.
Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, aged 46, appeared at Sagamu Magistrates Court in Ogun state, with his case adjourned to March 13. He had previously faced charges on January 20 for causing death by dangerous driving and reckless driving. Kayode, who has not yet entered a plea, was released on bail of approximately £2,600.
