Smart Support automatically monitors broadband coverage and offers immediate support to customers facing speed or connectivity issues. Users will receive instant recommendations to resolve any problems, aiming to prevent disruptions that can impact activities like streaming or remote work.
Additionally, Virgin Media can remotely carry out fixes and updates overnight to avoid disrupting daytime activities. If necessary, customers may be advised to upgrade their WiFi Pod or Hub for better whole-home coverage, with the option to request an engineer at no additional charge for more serious issues.
Gareth Lister, Director of Connectivity at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the importance of fast and reliable connectivity, stating that Smart Support ensures quick issue resolution to keep customers connected. The service is being rolled out to all Virgin Media customers as a standard feature, enhancing overall connectivity without any extra fees.
