Sky TV subscribers are in for a pleasant surprise as the company rolls out a complimentary upgrade that includes access to Disney+ at no extra cost. This added benefit is part of the new Sky Ultimate plan, offering users the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of popular content from Pixar, Star Wars, Disney, and Marvel without any additional charges.

In addition to Disney+, Sky is set to introduce HBO Max Basic and Hayu to its lineup soon. The integration of these services across Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms ensures a seamless viewing experience, with Disney+ content integrated into various features like Continue Watching, search options, and voice control.

Furthermore, Sky Cinema subscribers will now have access to a dedicated Disney+ Cinema channel. For those not yet subscribed to Sky, the Sky Ultimate package is now available to all UK households starting at £24 per month. This package includes Netflix Standard with Ads, Disney+ Standard with Ads, HBO Max Basic with Ads (launching on 26 March), Hayu (full access from July), and over 130 Sky channels.

Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, emphasized the significance of the update, which brings together Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu under one subscription. Existing customers will enjoy the expanded content lineup at no extra cost, while NOW Entertainment users will receive HBO Max within the app without additional charges.

Sky’s aim with these changes is to simplify the streaming experience and provide viewers with a more unified and integrated platform for accessing their favorite shows seamlessly.
